An original composition for a flute sextet comprised of three C flutes, alto flute, bass flute, and contrabass. A wonderful progression through three thematic movements includes "Avian Envy," evoking the whimsical feeling of flight as the contrabass simulates a jet engine; "La La Land," an expressive and meditative section with a gentle rhythmic backdrop; and "Anthill Fugue," a fun Klezmer-like segment featuring an emphasis on the alto flute.
