Strauss, Johann : Vier Floten zu Gast beim Prinzen Orlofsky

Sold Out

The Fledermaus is the most-played operetta in the world and forms the summit of the so-called classical operetta. The core piece is the second act, the mask ball of Prince Orlofsky, which ends in a large drinking drink ("This is the way it is with me - chacun à son goût!"). The flute quartets provide a whimsical potpourri of the most famous numbers from the second act. The piccolo part provided in sentences IV and VI can also be performed on the Great Flute with the help of the attached alternative voice.
