Flute Pro Shop Policies ORDERS Orders from the Flute Pro Shop are considered to be definite contracts to purchase. Every effort will be made to provide product in a timely manner. Cancellation of orders must be made in writing or email. In the event of a cancellation, all shipping and handling will be billed to the client. SALES TAX No sales tax is charged in the state of Delaware. PAYMENT Bank cards are preferred. The Flute Pro Shop accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Debit cards are not accepted. Check payments are welcomed. All checks must clear the bank before product is shipped. A bank card number is required to secure the transaction. A $35.00 service fee will be charged for any returned checks. To avoid delay in shipping, cashier’s checks are recommended. GUARANTEE Products are under warrantee for normal wear and for one year after the date of purchase. In the case of flutes and headjoints, the client may request an exchange of the same value or higher for six months after the date of purchase. There will be no exceptions. BACKORDERS All items that are out of stock will be ordered from Flute Pro Shop vendors as expeditiously as possible. The client will be informed of any delay in the fulfillment of an order. Expedited shipping is recommended for any order in the amount of $500.00 or higher. The Flute Pro Shop insures all products in transit. All shipping will be through the UPS Store. Charges will correspond to UPS published rate charges. INSTRUMENT TRIALS In-person trials are preferred. The Flute Pro Shop is ideally located just two turns off of I-95 in Wilmington, DE. Wilmington is 120 miles from New York City, 23 from Philadelphia, and 80 from Washington DC. There is no sales tax in Delaware, making the Flute Pro Shop an ideal choice to purchase an instrument. Joan Sparks will be on hand to personally guide each client in instrument selection. Once a selection is made, a client may take the instrument for a one-week trial. This trial must be secured by a bank card. Checks will not be accepted for instrument trials. Instrument trials conducted long-distance must be secured by a bank card. The period of the trial will be for one week after the delivery date. There are no exceptions. All shipping is the responsibility of the client.
